Hey everyone! So I have finished up with shooting all my Wedding bookings of 2019! I can't believe how quick this year has flown by - so scary that time just seems to run away with us and before we know it, we're into another year again. Despite the speed, the year itself ihas been fantastic. I've been very lucky with who I've had the chance to photograph. I'v learnt so much and improved in my craft; about what people want from me as a photographer, and oddly I've learnt a lot about myself and my own general sense of direction. It really has been great in many respects! So as the title suggests this post is all about Victoria and her sweetheart Ashley, who were married on the 22nd of November, over at the lovely Lancashire Wedding venue - Stirk House. You can find more on Stirk House HERE - I couldn't recommend them enough. The hospitality is second to none, and they were also voted 'Best Wedding Venue' in the 'Great Northern Wedding Awards 2019' - so you know you are going to be looked after.
I'd just like to add I have no loyalties or affiliation with the venue. Only honest words from past experiences, so take that how you may :)
I know Victoria from the good ol' school days - back when life was a little more carefree, and oddly a time when I didn't have a camera in my hand. How times change!!
I have to say, I always LOVE to cover the weddings of people I grew up around. I've been fortunate enough to do it a few times now, and every time it really is a privilege and I'm very fortunate to be able to share their day with them. The passage of time and understanding how peoples lives have changed over the years, seems to make these Weddings all that bit more special and interesting :)
The wedding day itself was perfect. And despite some initial tears from both Victoria AND Ashley, they were so relaxed the more the day moved on, which made my job incredibly easy. I'm sure you will be able to tell how relaxed and how much laughter there really was, when you look through these previews... So without further ado and without much more waffle, here are the previews for your viewing pleasure! I hope you like them as much as I do! If you have any feedback or comments, be sure to add them below, or if you want to ask me a question direct, feel free to get in touch HERE!
